All you have to do is load TCP/IP and you're up and running. WinSock is
automagic.

Have you tried WinVN and Trumpet?
I prefer WinVN, although Peter Tattam is working on a new version of
Trumpet which may be even better. The current version of Trumpet is
available from ftp.cica.indiana.edu and elsewhere. WinVN is best obtained
from titan.ksc.nasa.gov in /pub/win3/Winvn/winvnstd* If you can't connect
to titan, try its *real* address: 128.159.4.20.

Subject: Re: Is there NNTP server software for winsock??
There is NNTP server software for winsock under NT, if anybody's interested.
(I have nothing to do with this company and haven't used their products).
